To support the HSEQ function in all related activities

Overview of Role:

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the HSEQ Administrator will be involved in supporting the management of the Health and Safety, Environment and Quality across the business.

 

This exciting role puts the employee at the heart of the business and allows the HSEQ Administrator to implement creative and continual improvement with ease across the company.  

 

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the HSEQ Administrator will be involved in the management of the Health and Safety, Environment and Quality systems, as well as regular auditing across the business.

 

This role is hybrid with possibly 1 day a week in an office, so you need to be a self-starter and be able to manage and prioritise your workload. It is important that you recognise that you are part of a team and find ways to be ‘visible’ to the team. Auditing responsibilities will require the HSEQ Administrator to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships at all levels within the business.  

 

Health and Safety:

To support the HSEQ Manager maintain compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations regarding health and safety. To undertake the administration and day to day tasks for health and safety such as completing internal health and safety audits, preparing data for monthly meetings, reviewing, and updating training, reviewing risk assessments and SSoW, ordering PPE, assisting with onboarding new employees. 

 

Environment and Quality:  

The HSEQ Administrator will assist in the maintenance, development, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering ISO.9001, ISO.14001 & ISO.27001.

This includes the maintenance and updating of all documents associated with the IMS, such as policies, process documents and data management systems. Updating information security controls in line with ISO.27001 and Infraco Consulting’s internal policies. Assisting the DPO with managing risks to data protection and managing the Infraco Core SharePoint page.  

 

The role will also require the HSEQ Administrator to support the HSEQ Manager during external audits of the IMS, and the development of any new ISO management systems that may be required in the future, such as ISO.45001.

The HSEQ Administrator will also assist the Business Management Team with tracking and managing any existing or future memberships and accreditations. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

We require an experienced and competent individual to be the undertake various tasks in the following areas, this is not an exhaustive list: 

  • Conduct management system audits of ISO.9001 / ISO.14001 / ISO.27001 and manage a programme of corrective/preventative actions for continuous improvement to ensure that the highest standards in technical competence and safe working practices are met. 

  • To monitor, review, improve and amend the Integrated Management System objectives to ensure continual improvement and compliance. 

  • To support with any external audits and the development of new ISO management systems.  

  • Support the risk management processes, including Risk Assessment. 

  • Support the delivery of company health and safety inductions and the provision of PPE. 

  • Compile reports and meeting slides on behalf of the HSEQ Manager to facilitate improvement. 

  • Manage the review and improvement of all management system documentation 

  • Manage the Infraco Core SharePoint.  

  • Assist the DPO in assessing risks to data security. 

  • To undertake any other accountabilities, responsibilities, activities, and tasks as directed by the business. 

  • To work closely with the Business Manager and Business Support Officer as required. 

Core Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good understanding or experience of management systems such as ISO.9001, ISO.14001, ISO.27001, ISO.45001. 

  • Experience with internal auditing  

  • Experience of reviewing of Legislation and guidance. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Internal auditing qualification 

  • Understanding of implementation on systems, processes, policies etc. 

  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security 

​Previous Experience and Skills:

As well as being a strong role model for culture change & behavioural safety impact you will also need:

  • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint, TEAMS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Excellent time management skills. 

  • High level of attention to detail. 

  • Must have excellent communication skills. 

  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills who interacts effectively with colleagues and clients. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when necessary. 

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time and assist the team in meeting deadlines. 

  • Ability to inspire and motivate people to drive the business forward and achieve business goals.
